The Influential Quote I’m Hanging On My Wall
Once in a while, God graciously sheds His beautiful light in our hearts with a new truth that redefines who we are, transforms our thinking, and forever influences our attitudes. A light bulb moment like that happened to me recently.
With many online calls being held around the globe, and congregations meeting virtually, I was not surprised when I came across a video of a worship song on Zoom. However, the God glorifying words, heartfelt expression of praise to the Father, and clear unity of the ones who sang it, stopped me in my tracks.

He is worthy!
On days that I’m struggling to act respectfully towards my husband, He is worthy of my obedience to God’s Word to do so.
In moments that I’m tempted to watch something I know would not please the Lord, He is worthy of my resisting the snare.
During evenings when I am so exhausted that I want to go to bed and end my day, He is worthy of my sacrifice to spend time with my discouraged teen.
On occasions that a sister in the Lord needs a listening ear, a meal, or comfort, He is worthy of my time to extend love.
He is worthy!
I don’t want to do anything I do for my own glory and pleasure.
I refuse to live to please other people.
I resist worldliness and succumbing to my flesh.
But I do all of these when my attention has wandered away from the God of my salvation.
If my eyes and heart are set on Him laying down His life for me, it is only then that I am more readily willing to lay down mine for Him!
I can live for Him because He. Is. Worthy.
So, the influential quote I’m hanging on my wall as a constant reminder to self, is:
