15 Encouraging Verses With Which To End Emails, Letters, and Cards (+ FREE Printable)

I am forever stuck when I reach the end of a letter, card, or even an email. It is such a beautiful sentiment to close with a precious verse from Scripture; a word that would linger in the reader’s mind and that she can hold on to as a personal reminder of God’s truth in her life.

Unfortunately letters and card writing are a dying art. It somehow seems so much more convenient to drop an e-card or an email to mark a birthday, anniversary, or ‘I’m thinking of you’ message. Often these are written in haste, and I, for one, rarely take the time to find an appropriate Scripture with which to close.

The Word of God is a living and active gem that the Lord has graciously given to us. In it, our King speaks to each and every need, fear, hardship, and trial known to man.

Following are 15 encouraging verses with which to end emails, letters, and cards that I have found helpful to have on hand, and that you may like to use. Perhaps these will prompt you, as did the apostles of old, to pen a note ‘in your own hand’ and by doing so be a blessing to those in your life, as well as those in need around you.
