I am so excited to share a Bible Study with you “in person!”
Psalm 19 is a beautiful portion of Scripture with much to learn and apply to daily life. I firmly believe that the truths found in its 14 short verses will bring you much encouragement, food for thought, and enthusiasm to delve deeper into the Word of God! (tweet)
Below the video, you will find the Psalm for your convenience, as well as some notes that will help you understand the bigger picture of the way the text flows.
So, without further delay, voila…
1 The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
2 Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
4 Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
5 which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
6 Its rising is from the end of the heavens,
and its circuit to the end of them,
and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple;
8 the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
9 the fear of the Lord is clean,
enduring forever;
the rules of the Lord are true,
and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can discern his errors?
Declare me innocent from hidden faults.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins;
let them not have dominion over me!
Then I shall be blameless,
and innocent of great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

That is a beautiful and encouraging Psalm. I remember learning parts of it as a child. Many of the words are comforting.
Yes, Jennifer! The words of this Psalm are indeed comforting, as are so many of the other Psalms. It is a book of great beauty and one to which I can so often relate. God bless you as you abide in Him my sister!
I love this, Tehila. Psalm 19 is a classic for me. It often runs through my mind as I stare at the night sky or a beautiful landscape. I love how you pointed out how God’s revelation in nature inspires us to trust him because of the regularity of some events. I had never considered that before in this passage!
Thanks Loren! Always appreciate your input and encouragement! God bless you, and may we continue to grow more and more into the image of His Son!
Really like that. It reenforces memory work from this week:
“Whoever has my commands and obeys them he is the one that who loves me.” John 14:21
and
“Through Him and for His name’s sake we have received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.” Romans 1:5
The law of the Lord is perfect. AMEN.
Blessings and thanks for linking with Sunday Stillness. We are building a community.

Have a blessed day. Tara (The Proverbs 31 Sanctuary)
Awww… thanks Tara! What a joy to hear that you enjoyed the study. Praise be to our Lord for that! God bless you always…
This is cool that you did this and shared it on your blog this way. With two crazy kiddos right now, I pinned and look forward to listening later, but I was thrilled to find it on the Mommy Brain Mixer this morning. Devotional time is a saving grace right now. Thanks for sharing!
I completely understand, Meredith! I have four crazy (but adorable) kiddos! I, too, have found that watching a little devotional or sermon here and there during this season of my life is often a true lifesaver, and often easier than sitting down for a formal Bible Study (although nothing can truly replace the depth and joy of that!). God bless you and know that I so much appreciate you taking the time to stop by. Blessings my sweet sis!
Excellent study! I kind of love your voice and accent.
Thank you so much, Amanda! I feel super honoured that you stopped by and enjoyed the study! What an encouragement that is to me! With much appreciation and blessing to you, as you abide in Our Lord and His precious Word.
“Keeping the Lord’s rules… are a great reward” – a gentle reminder of the beauty of a clear conscious. Thanks for linking up at Family Fun Friday at http://HappyandBlessedHome.com
